Last July, we hosted Sara Guitart, a participant from the "Joves i Ciència" programme by Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera. She had the opportunity to collaborate with our PhD students developing biomaterials for oncological applications.
More specifically, Sara worked on the development of patient-derived tumoroids by using artificial extracellular matrices based on hydrogels.
